Every potential investor will get personal service from making the initial decision about investing in Kazakhstan, right through to post-investment support. The Regional Directors’ service was set up within the front office of our investment block. This team works with investors and provides overall support, together with the middle office.

Business forums

KAZNEX INVEST works with the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies to organise international business forums, including official visits of foreign delegations to Kazakhstan and official delegations of Kazakhstan to foreign countries.

Organising meetings

KAZNEX INVEST helps foreign investors to arrange meetings and conduct negotiations with representatives of Kazakhstan’s government, ministries, national companies, regional authorities, industry associations, private companies and other organisations.

The online database of projects and investors at www.baseinvest.kz gives investors access to investment projects all over Kazakhstan. The database is available in 12 languages.

Multi-language investment website www.invest.gov.kz

KAZNEX INVEST provides up-to-date information on investment activity in Kazakhstan through the national interactive investment website. This is published in 12 languages – Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Kazakh, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Turkish. The website contains comprehensive information on current projects in Kazakhstan, the investment climate, utilities costs, labour costs, quotas for foreign specialists and other important issues. 

Investors’ Handbook – information brochure for foreign investors 

KAZNEX INVEST publishes the Investors’ Handbook, a brochure full of information on the business and investment climate in Kazakhstan. It details state support for investors, and procedures for setting up and doing business in Kazakhstan.

Creating better conditions for investment

KAZNEX INVEST and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies are working together to improve the legislative framework for FDI. In 2010 a number of regulatory documents aimed at improving conditions for investors and providing new incentives were drawn up.

Information and analysis 

KAZNEX INVEST provides consulting services for investors at all stages of project implementation. We compile information on ongoing and planned investments in Kazakhstan, review trends in foreign investment, and study ways of improving Kazakhstan’s investment environment.

Foreign Investors’ Council 

The Foreign Investors’ Council, chaired by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is a platform for dialogue between investors and high-level officials. KAZNEX INVEST plays an active role in working groups concerned with increasing foreign investment and improving Kazakhstan’s image. Prompt decisions on problems related to investment activity and the investment climate are made at Council meetings.
